Northwestern University's all-green building program

In this Q&A column, I ask the Northwestern University's director of sustainability what they are doing with 200 existing and new buildings on their Evanston, Illinois and downtown Chicago campuses. Going green is about more than LEED buildings at the acclaimed institution – it's also about reducing surface parking and improving walkability for students, faculty and staff. Read more about it here in my article published in American Builders Quarterly magazine.

Over more than five years of writing for Green Building & Design, I have had multiple opportunities to write about schools and universities that are investing in their buildings and students for a greener future. But I write for many types of organizations on topics outside of sustainability as well. Contact me, Russ Klettke, to discus your communications needs.
